For our latest team lunch, we ventured to Yukon to experience Green Chile Kitchen. With a New Mexican inspired menu, and a cozy, yet classy decor, this restaurant was very different from what I had been expecting. Not only do they use local beef from OKC’s own No Name Ranch and 100% all natural cage-free chicken, but they use actual Bueno green chiles that are grown and harvested in New Mexico.
I kept it simple and ordered a chicken quesadilla, which was very flavorful and obviously made from all fresh ingredients! I think I’ll probably find myself back in the Yukon area in the near future to try one of the more adventurous options, like the smothered burritos that ShowMeOKCdawn and ShowMeOKCryan ordered! These next few chilly days would also be a great reason to go back and try one of the traditional stews they have to offer! I’m not sure yet what my excuse will be, but I am sure I’ll be back to Green chile Kitchen soon!
